Delete your MeroMutu account

Delete your account in the MeroMutu app

1. Open the MeroMutu app and sign in.
2. Go to your profile, then open Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password and confirm Delete forever.

Delete your account on meromutu.com

1. Sign in at meromutu.com.
2. Open Edit profile.
3. In Account Management, choose Delete Account.
4. Enter your password and confirm.

Delete my MeroMutu account

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@meromutu.com from the email address on your MeroMutu account. Use the subject line Delete my MeroMutu account and include the name on the account. We will delete the account after we confirm the request is from you.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your MeroMutu account, we remove it from the live service immediately, including:

• Your account, including your name, email address, and password
• Your profile, including age, bio, location, education, occupation, interests, and photos
• Matches, swipes, and likes
• Messages stored on MeroMutu
• Blocks, mutes, in-app notifications, and push tokens
• Subscription records stored in our database

Data that may be kept

• Backups: Residual copies in backups are deleted within 30 days.
• Payments: Payment processors such as Stripe may keep transaction records for tax, fraud prevention, and accounting for as long as those laws require. We do not keep your profile after the account is deleted.
• Legal and safety records: We may keep information we are required to retain for an active legal request, a safety investigation, or a report already sent to authorities. We keep it only for that purpose and only as long as the law requires.
• Other people’s devices: Messages already delivered to another user’s device are outside MeroMutu’s control after your account is deleted.
